Child Safety Standards
Zero-tolerance policy
Liyag strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, solicitation, trafficking, coercion, sexualization of minors, and any attempt to create, request, share, or promote such content.
- Any account involved in CSAE behaviour is permanently removed.
- Content related to CSAE is removed immediately when detected or reported.
- We cooperate with relevant law enforcement where required by law, including the Philippine authorities under RA 11930 (Anti-Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children Act) and RA 9775 (Anti-Child Pornography Act).
Adults only
Liyag is for people 18 years and older. Date of birth is collected at sign-up and anyone under 18 is refused an account. If we learn that a minor has created an account, we delete it immediately.
Prevention and enforcement
- Age-gated platform rules and moderation controls are applied.
- Every newly added profile photo is reviewed by our moderation team.
- We use best-effort AI-based moderation to help detect and remove pornographic or sexually explicit content.
- AI moderation is an assistive layer and may not be perfect; final enforcement decisions include human review.
- Photo verification compares a live selfie against profile photos, which makes it substantially harder to impersonate another person.
- User reporting and moderation review are available for unsafe behaviour and content on every profile, chat, and message.
- Repeat or severe violations result in permanent bans and additional safety actions.
How to report child safety concerns

Include any relevant account ID, timestamp, and context so our safety team can investigate quickly.
If a child appears to be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services
first. In the Philippines, call 911, or reach the DSWD child protection
hotline at 1343.
